“Dog whisperer does not do Emma justice. We were lucky enough to have her come to our home and help with our six month old puppy Tilly.
Tilly is not our first dog, we had lost our beloved Cavoodle Chino a year earlier and finally I made the decision to welcome a new puppy into our family.
We returned to the same trusted breeder we had got our last dog from and went and met a beautiful little Cavoodle puppy who won our hearts and came home with us at nine weeks.
However, no two dogs are the same and our new puppy Tiily was a handful, fearful, jumpy, biting everything, chewing madly and just not easy.
We had taken her to two puppy schools, and I still felt very lost as to how to train her and make her feel relaxed. That’s when the incredible Emma entered our lives. She had been recommended by the breeder who I had called feeling very lost.
Emma came to the house and watched Tilly, who madly jumped at her. With a calm and centred approach Emma worked out how to work with Tilly and within a short time was able to calm her and even get her to sit quietly. She then gave us some a range of practical ways of working with Tilly, and a training and feeding routine that we instituted.
Emma explained so clearly why Tilly waa behaving in this manner and how to address the biting and chewing. I also loved that she gave us printed handouts and notes as reminders between visits. Emma returned several times as Tilly grew and helped refine and work with her. She was also always just a phone call away and showed genuine interest in getting the problems sorted.
Today Tilly is just over a year old, and mostly a beautiful, well behaved girl, who we adore. Our bond and love has grown thanks to Emma helping us understand what Tilly needs. Her positive training methods really worked for Tilly and we felt so good about not punishing our puppy. I would not hesitate to recommend Emma she changed our lives and I will be forever grateful.”
