“Dog whisperer does not do Emma justice. We were lucky enough to have her come to our home and help with our six month old puppy Tilly.

Tilly is not our first dog, we had lost our beloved Cavoodle Chino a year earlier and finally I made the decision to welcome a new puppy into our family.

We returned to the same trusted breeder we had got our last dog from and went and met a beautiful little Cavoodle puppy who won our hearts and came home with us at nine weeks.

However, no two dogs are the same and our new puppy Tiily was a handful, fearful, jumpy, biting everything, chewing madly and just not easy.

We had taken her to two puppy schools, and I still felt very lost as to how to train her and make her feel relaxed. That’s when the incredible Emma entered our lives. She had been recommended by the breeder who I had called feeling very lost.

Emma came to the house and watched Tilly, who madly jumped at her. With a calm and centred approach Emma worked out how to work with Tilly and within a short time was able to calm her and even get her to sit quietly. She then gave us some a range of practical ways of working with Tilly, and a training and feeding routine that we instituted.

Emma explained so clearly why Tilly waa behaving in this manner and how to address the biting and chewing.  I also loved that she gave us printed handouts and notes as reminders between visits. Emma returned several times as Tilly grew and helped refine and work with her. She was also always just a phone call away and showed genuine interest in getting the problems sorted.

Today Tilly is just over a year old, and mostly a beautiful, well behaved girl, who we adore. Our bond and love has grown thanks to Emma helping us understand what Tilly needs. Her positive training methods really worked for Tilly and we felt so good about not punishing our puppy. I would not hesitate to recommend Emma she changed our lives and I will be forever grateful.”

Emma’s knowledge and understanding of dog behaviour was great for our confidence, we have never had a dog from a puppy before. His training progressed quickly using the techniques and positive approach recommended by Emma, and he is a calmer and trusting dog for it.

We couldn’t recommend Emma more highly – she loves dogs and they love her.

“Emm was recommended to us as a trainer at our local dog park. She worked with us to identify key priorities to focus on and provided structure for us with a tailored training plan. Emm listened to our needs and delivered a fun plan that was enjoyable and rewarding to follow. We kept it simple and Finn loved it. As our confidence grew, so did Finn’s.

Emm very quickly became our oracle for advice and made herself available for ad hoc conversations, training tips and animal health concerns. One of the key areas for us was focussing on a fussy eater and making food fun with tools like licki mats and puzzles.

We have a gorgeous 18-month dog with a beautiful nature. We fully recommend Emm's training and genuine love and care for our much loved family member.”

“Emm was recommended to me by friends who’s dog she was training. My boy is a spirited teenager and was having some challenges with recall and being reactive to noises amongst other things. She has worked with both him and I and guided me with the tools, techniques and confidence to manage his ongoing training. I have learnt so much from her, not only about his training but also the importance of enrichment and mental stimulation, which has helped prevent him from being destructive. Also, invaluable tips around his feeding and general care.”

“I have not only seen, but also experienced personally, the love and dedication that Emma has when it comes to teaching and managing dogs, from new puppies to the more senior ones.

Emma has a passion for dogs, which is evidenced in the enthusiastic response that she has when they see her! She has a gentle, methodical, enrichment-based method of teaching and is generous in sharing her knowledge with others. Most importantly, the dogs love her.”

“Emm is the most incredible dog lover, dog trainer, and dog whisperer! We have learnt so much from her about training, feeding, socialising and enrichment for our groodle, Dougie, which we - and he - are eternally grateful for. Emm takes the time to understand any problems we have, and gives us simple, clear strategies which always work. As for Dougie, he simply loves Emm, leaping high into the air with uncontained joy whenever she comes in the back gate! He promptly sits then she approaches him she always rewards him for the sit!”
